Two fake cops held in Rajkot

Cops also found two sets of fake identity cards from them.University police station inspector M V Rabari said that the duo was arrested for impersonating as cops and under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. This raised suspicion and the duo was detained for questioning.During interrogation, the duo confessed that they were impersonating as cops to extort money from people. Asked to show his I-card, Jayesh showed them a card stating that it was issued by police commissioner of Kutch district. Shrivastava was dressed in police uniform with badge of a PSI, while Savseta was in plain clothes.When asked to identify themselves, Shrivastava told the city police patrol party that he was PSI posted with Kutch police.
