On August 10, he eloped with 18-year-old girl Nidhi Khakhar who had joined his classes.On Tuesday, the girl’s father Khakhar, who has a cutlery shop in Chotila, announced Rs 1 lakh award for anyone giving information about Trivedi and his daughter. He has also got printed 1,000 posters announcing the reward and these will be circulated at various public places.“Police told me that Trivedi’s last location was traced to Karol Baugh in New Delhi on August 18 where he went to a shop and sold my daughter’s brand new mobile phone for Rs 4,000. He told the buyer that Nidhi was his daughter and she was very ill. He needed the money for treatment. Trivedi also gave my Aadhar card as the mandatory identity proof to buy the mobile,” Khakhar told TOI.The girl was studying in Rajkot college and she is the only daughter of her parents.During initial investigation when Khakhar lodged a complaint of kidnapping against Trivedi, police had traced his mobile location to Nepal and a team of cops even went there to locate him. However, they had to return empty-handed. Moreover, Trivedi keeps changing his locations, making it difficult for the cops to nab him.Police have also got 2,200 posters with his pictures circulated at all public places as well as all the major trains.Trivedi was arrested from Punjab on July 14, 2014, two years after he abducted two class XI girls from Padadhari town near Rajkot. A native of Vadodara, Trivedi had two failed marriages and has fled with at least eight women since 2010.He was sentenced to life imprisonment on March 23 for kidnapping and raping two 16-year-old girls near Rajkot.On July 28, he was granted 15 days parole.
