Rajkot: An absconding murder accused , who had fled from the children’s shelter home in Rajkot after being lodged there in a double murder case three months ago, was nabbed on Saturday. Rafai had committed the murder, nursing a grudge against Bipin, who had allegedly made Rafai’s sister elope with him. The accused was identified as Faiz Rafai (18), a resident of Palitana Road in Gariadhar.Rafai along with his three accomplices had allegedly murdered Bipin Kumbhar and his father Gordhan Kumbhar. We arrested him on the basis of a tip-off about his whereabouts,” an official from Rajkot crime branch said. As at the time of his arrest he was minor, so Rafai was lodged in the children’s shelter home.“After he fled from the children’s shelter home, Rafai had rented a room behind Rajmoti Mills and had been living there.
