Rajkot: Shivani Maadam (21), daughter of Poonam Maadam, BJP MP from Jamnagar Lok Sabha constituency, succumbed to her burn injuries during treatment in a hospital in Singapore on Sunday.Family members in Jamnagar confirmed her death. Shivani was the only child of Poonam and former defence officer Perminder Kumar. They said Shivani had received burn injuries when a heater exploded during Diwali at Maadam’s residence in New Delhi.She was immediately taken to a hospital in Mumbai and then shifted to Singapore for further treatment.
