Rajkot: In a drive to collect property tax Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) on Friday recovered Rs 44.26 lakh, while it also sealed 58 properties in a single day. The civic body is working hard to collect maximum tax before the end of the current financial year. The civic body also issued notice to 14 property holders in the east, west and central zones. Sources said that maximum staff has been allotted in each zone to continue its tax collection and sealing campaign.
