Modi asked people to open bank account as Rs 15 lakh was coming. “On one hand, Modi helped defaulters flee with public money. On the other, he asked people to keep all their money in banks and then introduced demonetization. You know why BJP government has given gas cylinders to poor people and launched a scheme to build pucca houses? The seat-sharing issue has become a hurdle in the formation of an opposition mahagathbandhan in the state.

Bokaro: JMM working president Hemant Soren on Wednesday asked people to not to keep their hard earned money in banks as it has become difficult to have faith on financial institutions in the regime of Prime Minister Narendra Modi . “It is better to dig a hole and bury your money than keeping it in banks as it can vanish any day under this government,” Soren said while addressing a public gathering as part of his Sangharsh Yatra at Jhanda Ground in Giridih Soren said many bank fraudsters have fled from the country under the BJP government. “On one hand, Modi helped defaulters flee with public money. On the other, he asked people to keep all their money in banks and then introduced demonetization. Modi asked people to open bank account as Rs 15 lakh was coming. It was only eyewash. The day is not far when you will lose your money kept in bank,” said Soren.Soren accused BJP of cheating people and said the Modi government only works for the benefit of the rich. “In past five years, BJP has done nothing. No development. You know why BJP government has given gas cylinders to poor people and launched a scheme to build pucca houses? After you get these, you will not remain below poverty line and the benefits you get will stop. A person with a motorbike, a pucca house and a gas cylinder will not be recognized as poor,” Soren said.Soren said he is confident that JMM will field a candidate for Giridih parliamentary seat even as JVM-P chief Babulal Marandi has staked a claim for this constituency. The seat-sharing issue has become a hurdle in the formation of an opposition mahagathbandhan in the state.
