DLSA ends marital dispute of int’l cricketer

Ranchi: The District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) has resolved the dispute between blind international cricketer Sujit Munda and his wife, Anita Devi, through mediation.DLSA sources said that Anita had approached the them with a complaint her husband was not giving any money to run the family and for the educational expenses of their two children. She also suspected that he was in relation with another woman.DLSA mediator Rajesh Kumar Sinha held around six sittings with the couple and resolved their disputes. Sujit agreed to provide Rs 10,000 monthly to his wife and also educate their children in a good school. He also agreed that he would build a home for the family if they are displaced from the current slum in the Heavy Engineering Corporation area.DLSA secretary Rakesh Ranjan said, It was a win-win situation for the couple. They agreed to respect each other and live in harmony. The mutual distrust between them was removed through counselling.
