Form SIT to probe charges against us: BJP dares JMM

Ranchi: Hitting back at the ruling JMM, opposition BJP on Sunday dared the incumbent government to form a special investigation team (SIT) to launch a probe into the allegations levelled against the leaders of the saffron camp or take back its words. Replying to queries at a press conference on Saturday, JMMs central general secretary and spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharjee accused BJP president Babulal Marandi of having ties with cow smugglers, suspecting that Marandis ongoing Sankalp Yatra was being financed by such elements. Citing an example, Supriyo said recently one Ramesh Pandey managed to escape during police raids against cow smugglers in Dhanbad. Marandi must answer who Ramesh Pandey is as we have learnt that both are close to each other. Probably, people like Pandey are also financing Marandis Sankalp yatra, he accused.BJPs spokesperson Pradeep Sinha dared the government to launch probe into the allegations. JMM has the tendency to level baseless allegations against our party.
