District election officer and DC Palamu Shashi Ranjan and his team sat with the political parties very recently and asked chiefs of the respective political parties to remove all political / poll posters etc positively failing which necessary action may be initiated against the defiant.    As the model code of conduct is going to be enforced from Saturday March 16, the day the ECI will announce the poll dates, district administration has asked the district heads of the recognised political parties to remove all kinds of their political or party banners, posters, cut outs within 48 hours.    Similarly these heads have been asked to set right things under the public property defacement act in 72 hours where house walls or shop walls or private building or premise has political flag, banner, poster, cut out etc.    In the event of the household or shop owners consent to have political stuff in their building or premise is duly obtained by the political party then it is to be left unremoved.    There are lots of festoons in the municipal corporation area from the time of the Pran Prathishta to the Lord Ram at Ayodhya.    Nodal officer of the Karmik Koshaang Kundan Kumar who is the additional collector here said "There would be removal of all political stuff if found in the premise and building of the government offices."   Kundan Kumar said "We are determined and committed to have a free and fair Poll."   Sources said maximum banners and posters of the political parties are of either of women or of the farmers. From Beti Bachao to Kissan Samman Nidhi etc posters and banners fill the road side.    Its the BJP that has 98 percent of the street side advertisements, posters, banners, placards, sign posts etc among the political arena.    BJPs outreach through posters and banners is unparalleled. From laying foundation of any rail line down to flagging off the train, the BJP offers scenes to every onlooker.    The JMM here too put up its political banners and posters in the wake of the arrest and judicial custody of Hemant Soren highlighting Jharkhand to be run all smoothly under Hemant Soren Part 2 governance led by the new incumbent Champai Soren.    The tally of the Congress in terms of advertisements and posters is very dismal.    The RJD, CPI, CPI ML, BSP, Samajwadi Party etc have no spatial existence here  in terms of the compulsive advertisements and posters like that of the BJP.
