Run for Democracy organised to increase polling

A Mini Marathon with the name of Run for Democracy was organized at Morhabadi Ground in Ranchi on Sunday under SVEEP with the aim of ensuring maximum participation of voters in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Earlier, Chief Electoral Officer of Jharkhand K Ravi Kumar, Additional Chief Electoral Officer Sandeep Singh, Deputy Inspector General of Police Anoop Birthare, Ranchi District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Kumar Sinha, Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandan Sinha, Nodal Officer Sweep cum Deputy Development Commissioner, Dinesh Kumar. Yadav, SDO Utkarsh Kumar, State Sweep Nodal Officer Devdas Dutta, District Deputy Election Officer Vivek Kumar Suman jointly started the mini marathon by flagging off. The youth participating in the mini marathon took three rounds around the Morhabadi grounds. Along with this, K Ravi Kumar and other officials also ran. In the mens category, Pawan Singh stood first, Vikesh Kumar stood second and Anoop Oraon stood third. In the womens category, Mamta Kumari got first place, Neeta Kumari got second place and Sheetal Kumari got third place. The winners were awarded by the guests. After this, a DJ event was also organized at Morhabadi Maidan, in which the youth danced to the songs and tunes related to voter awareness. Kumar made people aware through the marathon and gave the message that they must go to vote. Voting strengthens the country. At the same time, our participation in this great festival of democracy is ensured. He said that we all should make each other aware about voting. Participate with enthusiasm in the great festival of democracy with the entire family. He said that there will be a paid holiday in government and private institutions on the day of voting. It is also the moral responsibility of all of us to use it meaningfully.
