Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued summons to Jharkhand Rural Development Minister, Alamgir Alam. The ED has called him for questioning on May 14.   The ED had raided a total of nine locations of six people including Alamgirs personal secretary Sanjeev Lal on May 6. During this period, ED had recovered a total of Rs 35.23 crore from the hideout of Sanjeev Lals servant. Taking action in this case, ED had arrested Alamgir Alams personal secretary Sanjeev Lal and his assistant Jahangir Alam. After which ED produced both of them in the court and took them on remand till May 13.   Raids were conducted on the premises of Jharkhand government minister Alamgir Alams OSD Sanjeev Lal and his servant on last Monday. Rs 35 crore was recovered in the ED raid. Minister Alamgir Alams OSD Sanjeev Lal and his servant have been arrested in this case. Both are being interrogated on remand.   It is noteworthy that ED had conducted raids on May 6 in a money laundering case related to Chief Engineer Virendra Ram, close to Jharkhand Governments Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam. It is being said that approximately Rs 35 crore was recovered then. ED recovered approximately Rs 32 crore from Jahangir Alam, servant of ministers OSD Sanjeev Kumar Lal. The remaining cash was recovered from a contractor named Munna Kumar Singh and some other engineers.   At 4 am on May 6, the ED team together raided the government residence of ministers OSD Sanjeev Kumar Lal at Deendayal Nagar, flat at Sita Niketan at Kanke Road, residence at Harmu Road, flat of Sanjeev Lals servant Jahangir Alam and Munna Kumar Singhs flat. The flat located at PP Compound, the flat of Vikas Kumar, Assistant Engineer of Road Construction Department, at Cell City and the residence of Kuldeep Minj, Assistant Engineer of Road Construction Department, located at Bodaiya, were raided.
