A grand program was organized on Saturday at Mithila Academy Public School to mark the occasion of Janaki Navami. The chief guest, A.K. Singh, GM of the Town Service Department of BSL, and President of school Hari Mohan Jha, along with Secretary Pramod Kumar Jha Chandan, General Secretary of Mithila Cultural Council Neeraj Choudhary, Former President of Mithila Womens Committee Kiran Mishra, current President Seema Jha, Cultural Secretary Beenu Choudhary, and other esteemed guests, collectively lit the ceremonial lamp to inaugurate the program. Students of the school welcomed the audience by singing the welcome song "Aail Mangal Din He Swagat Karu Pahuna Ke..."     Chief guest AK Singh remarked that Mithilanchal and the people of Mithila are connected to Ramayana like a lamp is to its flame. Addressing the children, he said that if the characters and virtues described in the Ramayana are incorporated into life, maintaining a connection with civilization and culture is not impossible. Secretary of the council, Neeraj Choudhary, stated that the life of Sita Ji, as an ideal woman, is exemplary for all. Similarly, Pramod Kumar Jha Chandan emphasized that our culture is our identity, which we can carry forward from generation to generation. Principal Ashok Kumar Pathak mentioned that Ramayana connects us with our motherland and teaches us the values of sacrifice and dedication.
