A quiz programme was conducted in the College of Veterinary Sciences and animal Husbandry of BAU  by Virbac pharmaceuticals amongst the internship students by offline mode . Niraj Sharma secured 1st position, Winkle Gupta 2nd and Ambica Raj 3rd position in the quiz competition. The winners have been selected for the zonal round of the quiz competition by the Virbac and then finally to national level. Virbac has been instrumental in promoting academia along with being pioneer in treatment sector. By this quiz competition the motive has been to make the budding vets aware about the etiology, impact and treatment of mastitis so that they could save animals consequently the farmers from the ill-impact of mastitis. The programme began with  technical presentation of Dr Kawish Ahsan, Technical Executive, Virbac on "Mastitis management in Indian Condition". The quiz competition followed next. The programme was coordinated by Dr Nandani Kumari, Asst.Prof Cum Junior Scientist, Department of Animal Genetics & Breeding. Dean, Veterinary College Dr Sushil Prasad  congratulated the winners of the quiz competition. Marketing team comprising of Alabhya Bhaskar, Sumit Kumar, Saurav Suman, Subham Gupta from the marketing team of Virbac Animal Health India Pvt Ltd were present to ensure the execution of the programme which ended with mastitis kit distribution and information booklet to all the internee .
