With campaigning for Dhanbad Lok sabha seat ending on May 23 evening, campaigning by two most formidable candidates, out of 25  in the contest,here have stepped up campaigning . Even star campaigners of either side  be it BJP or Congress have started descending in the coal belt for woo voters to vote for respective candidates . According to an available report, Priyanka Gandhi is to address a public meeting for her party candidate Anupma Singh on Tuesday  at Jealgora  stadium . Earlier, on Sunday Kalpana Soren, wife of former chief minister Hemant Soren  campaigned for Anupma at Nirsa  to woo voters for Anupma . The Congress nominee is getting good backing from JMM , RJD and select Left as well as trade unions of coal and steel belt . Jharkhand minister Mithilesh Kumar Thakur held meetings in favour of Anupma  at different locations on Monday. As far as the BJP is concerned, the party is organising a press conference every day by one of its senior leaders . While former BJP state president Deepak Prakash  participated in different meetings in favour of party candidates in the last two days Bhanu Pratap Sahi  visited different parts of the constituency on Monday . Defence minister Rajnath Singh is to address a rally  for the party nominee in Bokaro on Tuesday. On the last day of the campaign the UP chief minister is likely to visit Dhanbad  . Its not that the RSS has too stepped its activities in favour of the BJP candidate. Party candidate Dhullu Mahto on Monday was seen greeting workers of Bokaro Steel Plant main gate  in order to woo voters . Its not only these, Marxist Coordination Committee  candidate   has stepped up campaign .
