The capital repair work of Sinter Plant Band-2 was successfully completed on May 21, and the plant was operationalized in the presence of Rajan Prasad, Executive Director (Personnel & Administration and Additional Charge works). On this occasion,  B.K. Behera, Chief General Manager (Sinter Plant), Dhananjay Kumar, Chief General Manager (RMHP), J.V. Shekhar, Chief General Manager (Shops),  M.P. Singh, Chief General Manager (Blast Furnace),  D. Sarkar, Chief General Manager (Electrical), senior officials, and employees were present.   The capital repair of Sinter Plant Band-2 included critical tasks such as machine drive, gearbox, and battery roof changing, all of which were completed safely. Under the leadership of B.K. Behera, Chief General Manager (Sinter Plant), and with the cooperation of senior officers and employees from electrical and mechanical maintenance, including  Anshumali,  S.K. Singh,  C. Thakur,  A. Hazra, and A. Gupta, the work was completed on schedule.
