Rubaru programme organized at BSL

On May 23, a dialogue program titled "Rubaru" was organized at the Human Resource Development Center for BSL officials, with the Director In-Charge,  Birendra Kumar Tiwari, leading the session. Approximately forty BSL officers participated in the event.   The program commenced with a safety pledge led by the Director In-Charge. Assistant General Manager (Environment Control Department)  Nitesh Ranjan gave a presentation on the theme "Controlling Greenhouse Gases and Carbon Footprint in Steel Production." The presentation detailed the measures being adopted by BSL to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, the officers were briefed on other significant aspects and challenges related to the steel industry.   DIC Tiwari emphasized SAIL and Bokaro Steel Plants commitment to reducing carbon emissions to less than 2 tons per ton of steel produced. He highlighted the importance of adding value to their work at the workplace. During the discussion, officials offered several suggestions to achieve this goal and addressed other relevant aspects. The program was coordinated by Manager (HR - L&D)  Preeti Kumari.
