4-day training session on Prayas cum Project Impact

From May 28, a four- day training workshop on Prayas cum Project Impact and FLN (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy) will begin at the Jharkhand Council of Educational Research and Training, Ranchi. During this workshop, as many as 235 representatives of 9 social organizations contributing in the field of education from across the State will participate. During this session, training will be given to the delegates in two batches. The first batch will be held on May 28 and May 29 while the second batch will be on May 30 and May 31. In these sessions, under Project Impact, special training will be given on the subject matter related to the educational environment of the schools and on the topics related to compliance of FLN in the next six months in the schools supported by these institutions. State Officer of Quality Program Abhinav Kumar said that in the next six months, compliance with basic literacy and numeracy will be ensured in 3000 schools across the State. It is essential to achieve the goals of integrated outcome of the program by giving special training to the representatives of various social organisations working in this area. The objective of this program is to develop reading proficiency and arithmetic skills among children studying in primary classes so as to ensure universal literacy and numeracy for children up to Class 3 by the year 2026- 27.
