From robbery to remedy: Police and Jewellers craft security solutions

In a significant move to bolster security for jewellery  traders, a direct dialogue program was organised at the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Senior police officials, including Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishore Kaushal, IPS, and Rural Superintendent of Police (RSP) Rishabh Garg, IPS, engaged with local jewellers  to discuss security measures for their businesses. The meeting saw active participation from various police officers such as DSP CCR Anjani Tiwari, DSP City Sudhir Kumar, DSP Headquarters-2 Niranjan Tiwari, DSP Law and Order Tauqeer Alam, DSP Patmda Bachchandev Kujur, and Sonari Police Station in-charge Saryu Anand. Chamber Chairman Vijay Anand Moonka, in his welcome address, commended the police for their swift action in apprehending criminals involved in the recent robbery at a Sonari jewellery  shop on May 25th. Moonka emphasized the need for continuous improvement in law enforcement and traffic management, highlighting issues such as market security, availability of police at intersections, night patrolling, and the removal of anti-social elements around jewellery  shops. SSP Kishore Kaushal assured the traders of the polices commitment to maintaining tight security across the city. He stressed the importance of installing high-quality CCTV cameras in shops to aid in crime prevention and resolution. "The traders of Jamshedpur play a crucial role in the citys development, and the police are dedicated to ensuring their safety," he stated.  The event also featured the honoring of the police team responsible for solving the Sonari MB Jewellers robbery case. Honorees included Sonari police station in-charge Saryu Anand and team members Amit Kumar Choudhary, Diwakar Dhobi, Santosh Kumar, Ravikant Mishra, Asif Iqbal, Sunil Kumar, Manoj Kumar Paswan, Mukesh Kumar, and other diligent officers.  Manoj Adesara of the Jewellers  Association presented various security suggestions from the traders, emphasizing the need for enhanced protective measures. The event saw attendance from numerous dignitaries and members of the jewellers community, including Vice President Anil Modi, Advocate Rajiv Agarwal, and many others.  Vice President Anil Modi, Advocate Rajiv Agarwal, Puneet Kanvatiya, Abhishek Agarwal Goldy, Secretary Bharat Makani, Advocate Anshul Ringasia, Vinod Sharma, Vipin Bhai Adesara, Milan Adesara, Deepak Bagadia, Dinesh Patadia, Kirit Adesara, Manish Adesara, Pritam Jain besides a large number of members and jewellers  were present in the program.
