Mayank Kumar Bhakta, a music teacher at DPS Bokaro, has brought immense pride to Bokaro and the state of Jharkhand by being awarded the Vishwa Ratna Samman 2024. The accolade, bestowed by the Delhi-based Worthy Wellness Foundation, is affiliated with Niti Ayog and the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India.   Bhakta, renowned for his mastery of the tabla, received the award for his exceptional contributions to music education. His selection was based on the merit of his achievements in the category of Music Teaching. Alongside the honor, he was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation, a trophy, and a medal, recognizing his unwavering dedication to teaching and his efforts in promoting Indias rich musical heritage among the youth.   With an impressive array of awards at both national and international levels, Mayanks accolades include the National Talent Hunt Winner, Teacher Innovation Award, Rashtriya Pratishtha Samman, Youth Festival Gold Award, Swar Sangam Award, and the Doordarshan-Akashvani Award.   The principal of DPS Bokaro, Dr. A. S. Gangwar congratulated Mayank on receiving this esteemed award and wished him continued success. In turn, Mayank expressed his gratitude for the schools support and the leadership of Principal Dr. Gangwar, which he credited for fostering an environment that encourages and supports teachers.
