Doctors Wives Association held its June GB Meeting at IMA HALL on Saturday afternoon at 3 pm. The program commenced  with a tribute to late DWA member Mrs. Kumud Mohan, wife of eminent radiologist Dr. Chandra Mohan. A beloved founder member, she had served as Treasurer of DWA with diligence and sincerity.  The memorial ceremony was held in the presence of her family. Another highlight of the program was the felicitation of members children who have fared well in the 2024 Board Exams. Senior Doctors Dr. Shobha Chakraborty Madam and Dr. Usha Rani Madam, Patrons of DWA, were present. DWA President Shreela Chaudhary welcomed the members. Chairperson Vineeta Sharan and Founder and Co-Chairperson Jhooma Sarkar extended best wishes and congratulations to the children for their success and their bright future. Secretary Amrita Vaidya appreciated the work of the organizers of the Fathers Day themed GB Meeting and presented a vote of thanks.  The cultural program comprised of  musical and dance items.
