Three persons died in Jharkhand on Thursday due to lightning along with rain. Ranchi Meteorological Center Chief informed that Abhishek Anand said that there was no heat wave in any area of Jharkhand on June 20. The maximum temperature in entire Jharkhand was below 40 degrees Celsius. Heavy rain with lightning may occur in the southern part including the north-eastern part on June 21 as well, he added. There is relief from scorching heat in Jharkhand. The rains has started before the arrival of monsoon. The weather will remain pleasant even on Saturday. Rain with lightning is expected in many districts. The monsoon coming from Kerala was stuck in Bengal for many days. It gained speed during the last 24 hours. The Meteorological Department has said that the monsoon is expected to enter Santhal Pargana soon via Malda, Raxaul-Bhagalpur. Monsoon may enter Jharkhand on June 22-23. Anand said that at this time there is a possibility of wind blowing at a speed of 40-50 kilometers at some places. The same situation will prevail on 22 June. On 23 June, there is a possibility of heavy rain and wind along with thunderstorm in Santhal Pargana. Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, the maximum rainfall of 63.5 mm was recorded in Khunti adjacent to the capital Ranchi. In the capital Ranchi, at 8:30 pm on Thursday night, Hinoo received 28 mm rainfall while other areas received 30 to 40 mm rainfall, he added. Due to rain, the maximum temperature of Ranchi has fallen by 4.2 degrees Celsius in 24 hours. The maximum temperature of Ranchi on 19 June was 37.6 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature on June 20 was recorded at 33.4 degrees Celsius. The temperature of Ranchi on June 16 was 41 degrees Celsius.
