The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) proudly announces its recognition as one of Indias Best Employers Among Nation-Builders for 2024 by the Great Place To Work Institute India. This esteemed accolade celebrates SAILs enduring dedication to nation-building and its efforts to foster a high-trust workplace culture. In December 2023, SAIL also earned the Great Place to Work certification for the period from December 2023 to December 2024 by the same institute.   SAILs steel plants in the public sector were instrumental during the nascent stages of Indias development post-independence. Established in the 1950s and 1960s with significant capital investments, these plants laid the foundation for the countrys self-reliance and rapid industrialization. Over the decades, SAIL and Indias steel industry have grown, positioning India as the second-largest steel producer globally. SAILs pivotal role in Indias growth narrative is a source of immense pride.   The Great Place To Work Institute India instituted this award to honor organizations that meet stringent criteria and are evaluated through an independent assessment. KK Singh, Director (Personnel) at SAIL, accepted the award on behalf of the company on June 19th at a ceremony in Mumbai.   Commending the achievement,  Amarendu Prakash, Chairman of SAIL, stated, "We are very happy and proud to receive this recognition from Great Place To Work India. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the SAIL collective over the years. This recognition gives us the confidence to do even better."
