Womens Cong prepares action plan for assembly polls

After the upcoming assembly elections and the instructions received from the national leaders, the Mahila Congress has prepared its action plan. Under which the womens organization wing will work in the coming days. This information was given by State Women Congress President Gunjan Singh during a press conference held at Congress Bhawan on Wednesday. Singh told that in a high-level meeting held with National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and KC Venugopal in Delhi on June 24, the Mahila Congress Committee has been entrusted with the responsibility of working under an action plan for the preparation of Jharkhand Assembly Elections-2024. The party women wing State Chief said that under the action plan, the Mahila Committee will first convene a meeting of the State Executive Committee in the coming month of August. In which National President of Mahila Congress Alka Lamba, Jharkhand State Incharge Ghulam Ahmed Mir State Congress President Rajesh Thakur ji will be present. A training program will be organized for three days for the Block Mahila Congress Presidents. In the next link of the action plan, Mahila Congress will work on local issues, will take the partys manifesto to the people, she added. Singh further said that the health camps will be organised for womens health, MPs will hold a gheraav programme on the paper leak issue and womens reservation. Along with this, Mahila Congress will run special programmes on rising inflation, toll tax, fall in Indian rupee, mohalla padyatra and my booth my responsibility, she added. Singh praised the coalition government running in the state and said that it is going to give one thousand rupees every month to poor women of every age group to make them economically strong. He congratulated the initiative to make the state drug free.
