Alert issued for heavy rain in States 13 districts

Ranchi Meteorological Center, on Monday, forecasted that the monsoon will spread across Jharkhand in the next 5 days and an alert has been issued regarding rain in 13 districts. The department has said that heavy rains have been reported in the north-eastern and adjacent central parts of the State on July 2 and July 3. Just a couple of days earlier monsoon has entered the whole of Jharkhand. Dark clouds have been looming over the State since this morning. There has been light rain at some places in the State in the last two days. The Meteorological Department has said that heavy rains have been reported in the north-eastern and adjacent central parts of the state on 2 and 3 July. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Ranchi, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Khunti, Gumla, Bokaro, Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur. There are also signs of thunderstorms during this period. The Center has issued a yellow alert for this. On July 4 and July 5 light to moderate rains will occur in most parts of the state. During the last 24 hours, the temperature of the state has decreased by four degrees. In the list released by the Meteorological Centre on Monday morning, it was informed that the maximum temperature of Ranchi was recorded at 34 degrees and the minimum temperature was 24 degrees. While talking about rainfall, the highest rainfall of 76.6 mm was recorded in Bansjor of Simdega, 61 in Panchet and 50 mm in Gumla Raidih. Along with this, 48 mm rain was recorded in Garhwa, 24 in Latehar, 50 in Simdega, 13 in Bokaro and 3.4 mm in Ranchi.
