Leader of Opposition, Jharkhand Assembly Amar Kumar Bauri and Chief Whip Biranchi Narayan met the Governor of Jharkhand on Monday and submitted a memorandum. The BJP leaders in their memorandum alleged that today Hemant Soren expanded his Council of Ministers. During the oath of office and secrecy, the way Madhupur MLA Hafizuddin Ansari started with a religious line after the call for oath, was unconstitutional. Therefore, administer the oath to him again and till then he should be considered free from the post of minister. The Governor said that appropriate action will be taken on the memorandum of the Leader of Opposition. Echoing the views, BJP state spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo, while posting on the social media platform X and tagging the Governor of Jharkhand, raised questions on Jharkhand government minister Hafizul Hasan saying Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim before and in between his oath, and wanted to know whether it is constitutionally correct? Pratul wrote that the oath is taken in the name of God or on truthfulness. Pratul wanted to know whether there is any provision in the Constitution for what the minister said during the oath? Pratul said that if there is no such provision, then the ministers oath will be wrong and his ministerial position will be in danger. Pratul shared the video of the oath taking and said that Minister Hafizur Rahman has also insulted the national anthem. Meanwhile, in another development BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi once again targeted the newly formed Hemant government today. Marandi was talking to the media during the special session called for a vote of confidence in the House. Marandi said that this government is standing on the foundation of lies and corruption from its first day. This government is formed only for money and family. He said that this government has only looted the state for the last four and a half years. Mines, minerals, stones, sand, land, grains of the poor and jobs of the youth have been looted. He said that there is despair in all sections of the tribal, Dalit, backward, women and youth. Law and order is in shambles. Murders are happening amidst the crowd of the capital. Criminals are fearless. Women, sisters, daughters are safe. Incidents of gang rape have become common. He said that in its first budget session, the Hemant government had said on the floor of the House that it would give jobs to lakhs of youth or else unemployment allowance, but today the youth is frustrated and disappointed. He said that the JPSC, JSSC examinations fell prey to corruption. By conducting the examinations through a blacklisted agency, the state government sold the jobs for lakhs of rupees. Today, young candidates are forced to sit on dharna. They have clear evidence of corruption, yet the government is adamant. He said that this government is not working according to the law but in an arbitrary manner. It is cheating the youth. He added that this government had gained support by promising to regularize Para teachers, Anganwadi workers, contract workers, assistant police personnel, but all this has been proved false today. He said that the government which is talking about universal pension today has not given pension to the elderly for the last four years. A drama was done for a month or two in the name of giving food grains in the name of Green Card. The truth is that the food grains being sent by the Central Government for the poor are also being looted by middlemen.
