Youth will play an important role in developing India: Union Minister

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resolved to make India a developed country by 2047. Proper planning is required to achieve this objective, and youth will play an important role in building a developed India," said Union Minister for Labour and Employment, Youth Affairs, and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, during a program organized under the Viksit Bharat Ambassador- Yuva Connect program at Amity University Jharkhand on Monday. The Viksit Bharat Ambassador Yuva Connect Programme – Jharkhand Chapter was initiated in Jharkhand from Amity University Jharkhand. Under this initiative, interactions will be held with students. The initiative aims to guide the youth about their responsibility towards achieving the goal of Viksit Bharat. During his interaction with the students, Dr. Mandaviya emphasized the pivotal role the youth must play for India to become Viksit Bharat. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has carefully planned for a developed India. Youth-centric decisions have been taken in the budget to fulfill this target," said the Minister, outlining the governments focus on planned development. Dr. Mandaviya, appealed to all students to register on the My Bharat Portal to contribute to a developed India. "Students are the future of the country, and through the My Bharat Portal, they have a great opportunity to serve the nation," he added. Dr. Mandaviya expressed confidence that every student can play a part in this significant task through small but meaningful steps. Dr. Ashok K. Srivastava, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand, conveyed his best wishes for the programme. He remarked, "Youth are the driving force of the future, and as they progress, India advances to new heights of development. Inspired by the vision of Honble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, we will collectively work towards building a developed India." Cadet Warrant Officer Pratik Kumar Singh from the 2 Jhar Air Squadron, studying Computer Science Engineering at Amity University Jharkhand, shared his inspiring journey showcasing the universitys commitment to holistic development. An accomplished shooter, he has earned a silver medal at the National Sports Meet and multiple state-level accolades. With training at the Armed Forces Training School and hands-on flight experience with the Zen CH 701 STOL microlight aircraft, he emphasizes the vital role of technology in modern warfare and aviation. During the programme, saplings were planted in the university premises by dignitaries and women achievers students of Amity, under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam initiative.
