CRPF and district police have achieved a major success against the Naxalite organization CPI Maoist. Based on the information received by CRPF 154 Battalion Commandant Sunil Dutt Tripathi and Giridih SP Dr. Bimal Kumar, a search operation was conducted on Parasnath hill. During this operation, a cache of weapons was recovered near Jokai Nala and Gardi of Parasnath. This information was given by Commandant Sunil Dutt Tripathi and District SP Dr. Bimal on Friday. Officials said that based on the information received regarding the weapons hidden by the Naxalites, a search operation was conducted by forming a team of Second Command Officer Daljit Singh Bhati, Additional Superintendent of Police Operation Surjeet Kumar, Assistant Commandant CH Tomba Singh, GD Om Prakash Verma and Khukhara Police Station Incharge Niranjan Kachhap along with a contingent of 154 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force. In this operation, a large quantity of arms and ammunition along with other items were recovered from the dense forest of Gardi near Jokai Nala above Chatri Kanadih village in Khukhara police station area of Parasnath hill. The SP said that the Naxalites had kept the weapons in a syntax tank. The tank was hidden inside the ground. With a lot of hard work and caution, the tank was taken out from the ground. The recovered arms included-- 1. 303 Bolt Action Single Shot Rifle (Country Made) - 08 Pieces, 2. 12 Bore Double Barrel (Factory Made) - 1 Piece, 3. 315 Bore Single Shot Rifle (Country Made) - 04 Pieces, 4. 7.62 SLR Rifle with Magazine - 01 Piece, 5. Wire Cutter (Big Size) - 02 Pieces, 6. Magazine Pouch - 03 Pieces, 7. Pistol Pouch - 01 No., 8. Electric Detonator No. -33 Connecting with Wire - 08 Pieces, 9. 303 Round - 08 Pieces, 10. Charger Clip - 06 Nos, 11. Rifle Gauze - 01 Piece, 12. Cordex Wire - 14 Bundles, 13. Explosive - 02 Bags, 14. 7.62 Round - 38 Pieces, 15. 9 MM - 10 Pieces, 16. Filler - 03 Pieces, 17. KF 8 MM - 09 Pieces, 18. Nitrobenzene - 2.5 Liter, 19. Desi Katta - 02 Pieces, 20. Semi Automatic Desi - 01 Piece, 21. STC - 700 R/Set - 01 Piece.
