Devarishi Narad Jayanti cum Journalist Felicitation Ceremony was organized on Thursday in Aryabhatta Auditorium Hall of Ranchi University. Apart from this, the new form of Jagran magazine Birsa Hunkar was also launched. The program started with Devarshi Stuti and lighting of lamps. Vishwa Samvad Jharkhand President Ram Avtar Narsaria announced the names of three journalists. He said that journalists who work in the interest of the state and the country are being identified and honoured. A senior journalist, a woman journalist and a new journalist were honored. Chief Guest Padma Shri recipient Ashok Bhagat, All India Publicity Chief of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sunil Ambekar, were present in the program. Vishwa Samvad Kendra Jharkhand President Ram Avtar Narsaria announced that the three journalists have been selected on the basis of doing remarkable work in the interest of the state and the country. Vikash Bharati Secretary Bhagat said, Devarshi Narad was the first journalist to establish dialogue in all three worlds. He was a symbol of positive dialogue. The basic objective of journalism is to know where, what and how to say, this understanding is necessary. Ashok Bhagat said that today social media has greatly influenced the direction and future of journalism. Youth should be cautious and responsible in this field.
