On the spot resolution of public grievances at Janta Darbar

A few days ago, a person had a heart attack and the doctor said that the operation should be done as soon as possible. The financial condition of the family was not good, a ration card was needed for treatment under the Ayushman scheme, with this complaint the woman reached the Janta Darbar of Ranchi DC Manjunath Bhajantri. The DC immediately directed the concerned officer to make a ration card. The woman got the ration card within a few hours. The woman thanked the DC and said that now she will be able to get her husband treated as soon as possible. Suraj Kumar, who got a job on compassionate grounds by giving the consent of his mother and elder brother and an affidavit to pay them alimony, was directed to show-cause by the Deputy Commissioner. Surajs mother had reached the public court with a complaint of not paying alimony. The DC directed the Establishment Incharge to stop Suraj Kumars salary and show-cause. Today once again till late evening, the DC kept hearing the problems of the general public in the public court. While listening to the complaints related to revenue, pension, certificate, transfer, illegal occupation of land etc. in Janta Darbar, the DC directed the officials of the concerned departments to forward the received applications and investigate and resolve the matter immediately. Eighty two-year-old Sukanta Kumar Vishwas came to Janta Darbar with a complaint of not getting old age pension. On the spot, the DC ordered the Assistant Director of Social Security to investigate. In which it became clear that the pension amount of the applicant till the month of March has been transferred to the account, the pension of April and May months will be paid within a week. The elderly expressed happiness over this. Chhaya Devi had come to Janta Darbar regarding the promotion of her son undergoing treatment at CIP to class nine. She told that after long treatment, her son is fine now. The school management is not ready for medical promotion, in this regard the DC directed the District Education Officer to talk to the school. An application related to banning hotel wastage was given in Janta Darbar by the Shukra Palak Sangh. The DC directed to correspond with the concerned officer of the Municipal Corporation in this regard. Complaints related to illegal occupation and sale of land also came in the Janta Darbar. Taking it seriously, the DC spoke to the concerned Circle Officer and ordered an inquiry into the matter. The Sub-Divisional Officer was also asked by the DC to take necessary action.
