CyberPeace Jharkhand Esports League 3.0

On the eve of World Telecommunication and Information Society, Ranchi witnessed the launch of CyberPeace Jharkhand Esports League 3.0, an ambitious and action-packed esports event aimed at training and nurturing young talent in Jharkhand for the inaugural Esports Olympics 2027, to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Organised by CyberPeace, a global nonprofit organization headquartered in India that works to build resilience against cyberattacks and cybercrimes, the third edition of the CyberPeace Jharkhand Esports League witnessed many participants across Jharkhand competing in multiple gaming titles such as FIFA Showdown and Free Fire Arena. The sporting event was held on 17 May in Ranchi with esteemed chief guests Utkarsh Kumar, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Ranchi and Mahesh Poddar, Former Rajya Sabha MP gracing the occasion. Mahesh Poddar also delivered a special address on the topics of "Responsible Content Creation and Responsible Gaming." He emphasized the need to strengthen cybercrime laws and to raise public awareness about them. The event was designed not only as a competitive platform for leisure but also as a bootcamp to hone the skills of aspiring esports athletes in line with international standards and put India at a global pedestal.
