A mock drill was conducted at ISPAT Bhavan, Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), to practice emergency evacuation procedures. The drill aimed to ensure preparedness in case of an emergency and involved the safe evacuation of employees from the building.   The drill was overseen by Director In-Charge B K Tiwari, along with Executive Directors and senior officials from the Safety Engineering Department.   The exercise began with the sounding of a siren to alert occupants to evacuate. Employees on upper floors were rescued using an aerial hydraulic rescue platform operated by the CISF Fire Wing. During the drill, participants were also briefed on the precautions and protocols to follow during an actual emergency.   Director In-Charge B K Tiwari emphasized the importance of such drills, stating that they are essential for strengthening emergency response capabilities. The drill was conducted under the guidance of Chief General Manager (Safety & Fire Services) B K Sartape.   Key contributions to the successful execution of the drill came from the CISF Fire Wing, BSLs Safety Engineering Department, BGH, Communication & Administration Departments, among others. The operation was coordinated by Assistant General Manager (Fire Services) Kumar Rajnish.
