Former minister, member of the coordination committee of Jharkhand government and working president of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee, Bandhu Tirkey has said that former Chief Minister Raghubar Das does not know which foreign religion he sees in Jharkhand which is becoming an obstacle in the way of preparing the PESA rules. He said that BJP leaders, especially Raghubar Das, have become habituated to blaming others and today under this they are taking the name of some so-called foreign religion, but such illogical and light talk does not look good. Tirkey said that Raghubar Das, besides being an honoured former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, has also held a respected post like the Governor of Odisha and he is well aware of the process of governance and administration as well as the process of law making and preparing rules. In such a situation, they should know that sometimes it takes some time to prepare a law or rule which is deeply connected to the aspirations of the people and there is a lot of pressure to prepare it. He said that the Jharkhand government, especially Chief Minister Hemant Soren, is very sensitive and serious about implementing the PESA rule. Along with this, it is also important that the India Alliance government working under the leadership of Hemant Soren tries to make a law or prepare a rule and implement it at the ground level only after building a good consensus among the general public and not like the Bharatiya Janata Party, which arbitrarily prepares a law or rule and implements it even if it harms the general public. Tirkey said that all the parties of the India Alliance in Jharkhand know very well that to protect the tribal identity, identity and honour, it is very important that the objectives of Bhagwan Birsa Mundas Ulgulan and Santhal Hul Revolution should never be forgotten. He reiterated that our government is working in the right direction while protecting water, forest and land and Raghubar Das should forget that Hemant government works under pressure from someone, rather the government is only under pressure of peoples aspirations and not of anyone else. The senior Congress leader said that appeasement or pressure politics is the identity of BJP and its allies and not of India Alliance. He said that if Raghubar Das and other BJP leaders care even a little about peoples aspirations and they are even a little sensitive towards tribal identity, existence, identity and our ancient and rich religion-culture, then they should put pressure on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Government to implement Sarna Dharma Code. Tirkey reminded that during its rule, the BJP government working under the leadership of Raghubar Das had made many conspiracies to give the land here in the share of industrialists apart from tampering with the CNT and SPT Act of Jharkhand, but they failed.
