The 300th birth anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar was celebrated at Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Barki Champi of Lohardaga district. A seminar was also organized on this occasion. In which mainly BJP State Vice President Aarti Kujur, District President Manir Oraon, District Vice President cum Convenor of this seminar Ajay Kumar Pankaj, Co-Convenor of the seminar cum District Mahila Morcha President Samela Bhagat were present. First of all, tributes were paid to the statue of Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar. On this occasion, the BJP District President remembered the life, duty and service spirit of Ahilya Bai and gave the message to the society to take inspiration from her ideals. He said that the life of Ahilyabai Holkar shows how strong and decisive the role of women can be in governance and social service. Appreciating such events organized by the school family, he said that such celebrations strengthen our cultural roots and connect the new generation with our glorious history. District Vice President cum Convener of this seminar Ajay Pankaj said that Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar was such a unique female ruler of Indian history, who made a permanent place in the hearts of the people through her just, religious and public service governance. Her entire life is an ideal example of women empowerment, social harmony, religious tolerance and administrative efficiency. He said that she not only managed the Malwa state efficiently, but also played an important role in the preservation of religious cultural heritage through the construction of temples, ghats and dharamshalas across the country. Maharani Ahilya Bai Holkars service spirit, policy-making and vision of public welfare are still a source of inspiration.
