JAC Class 12 Arts results declared 95.62% students pass across State

The Jharkhand Academic Council on June 5 declared the Class 12 Arts stream results for the academic session 2024- 25. A total of 217273 students cleared the exams, with the overall pass percentage being recorded at 95.62%- an improvement from 93.16% recorded last year. Girls with a pass percentage of 96.36% compared to 94.54% for boys, have outshined their male counterparts. Students can check their results on the Councils official websites- jacresults.com and jac.jharkhand.gov.in. As many as 228959 students from across the State were registered with the board to appear for the examination. A total of 227222 candidates appeared for the exam which included 93225 male and 133997 females. Out of 217273 students who have cleared the exam, 88144 are boys and 129129 are girls. This year, the pass percentage of girls has been recorded at 96.36% and that of boys was at 94.54% while last year for girls it was 94.22% and for boys it was 91.68%. As per the data shared by the Council, 107867 students have scored in the first division, 104314 are in the second division and 5091 cleared the examination in the third division. A student named Dev Tiwari of +2 JK High School Rajmahal became the State topper with a total of 481 marks. Prerna Kumari of RN +2 High School Padma with 470 marks was second highest scorer while Suraj Kumar Das of +2 JK High School Rajmahal and Kumari Ritamwara of Upgraded (+2) High School Kumharlalo secured the third spot with 466 marks each. Splitting it up district wise, the highest pass percentage was recorded in Khunti at 99.53% followed by Simdega at 99.13% and Hazaribagh at 98.55%. The State capital with a pass percentage of 97.19% stood at the 9th spot. The data also stated that since 2019, the highest overall pass percentage in the Arts faculty was recorded in 2022 at 97.43% and the second highest was in 2023 at 95.97%. The Jharkhand board had conducted the Class 12 board exams from February 11 to March 4 and on May 31, the Minister of School Education and Literacy Department of the State, Ramdas Soren had declared the results for JAC Class 12 Science and Commerce faculties. For the Science stream, the pass percentage of this academic session was recorded at 79.26% while that of Commerce was at 91.92%.
