Cabinet okays conducting JSSC graduate level exam in two phases

The Jharkhand cabinet today approved grant of Rs 57.95 crore for Khunti Womens College under Ranchi University and Rs 38. 76 crore for the degree college in Ichagarh under Kolhan University. Approval was given to give Rs 3 crore per year as assistance grant to Jharkhand State Hindu Religious Trust Board. The Jharkhand Cabinet took the decision along with a total of 26 proposals. Approval was given to dismiss the service of Nagar Untari Medical Officer Dr. Guru Charan Singh.  In other Cabinet decision, the Jharkhand State Staff Selection Commission will now conduct the graduate level examination in two phases. For this, amendment has been made in the Jharkhand State Staff Selection Commission Graduate Level Examination Conducting Rules. Now the graduate level examination will be in preliminary and written. If less than 50 thousand applications are received, then there will be no PT exam. Jharkhand State Staff Selection Commission was approved an advance of Rs 31.50 crore for conducting competitive examination for the financial year 2025-26. The cabinet approved to increase the ground coverage of Hotel Taj to be built in the core capital area. Under this, now the ground coverage of Hotel Taj will be increased from 25 to 40 percent. Also, the height will be increased from 26 meters to 27 meters. Approval was given to give estimability to government vehicles of officials of various levels from CS to DFO. Approval was given to increase the daily allowance of NCC cadets and officials. Along with this, they will also be given the benefit of AC three in the train. Officials will now be given a daily allowance of Rs 265 instead of Rs 130 and cadets will be given Rs 265 instead of Rs 125. In the Cabinet meeting, approval was given to form the Residential Land Management Rules 2025 of Jharkhand State Housing Board. Under this, the disabled will get the benefit of five per cent horizontal reservation in the plot. As per the instructions of the National AIDS Control Organization, approval was given to form the Jharkhand State Legislative Forum on HIV AIDS in Jharkhand. Under this, the district level mechanism will be strengthened. Its chairman will be the departmental minister. Five members will be nominated by the Speaker. Development Commissioner and Departmental Secretary will be its members. Project Director will be its Member Secretary. Now on State Foundation Day, police personnel will also get medals along with police officers. For this, the number of medals has been increased. The number of Governors medal for distinguished service has been increased from 10 to 21 and the number of Police medal for meritorious service has been increased from 31 to 60. At present, this medal was given only to the Inspector General of Police. Gazetted officers whose pay matrix is from nine will be given a mobile set worth Rs 25,000 and a recharge coupon of Rs 500. Approval was given to give ACP to Yogeshwar Ram, retired Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies of Agriculture Department. Reimbursement of Rs 1 lakh 19 thousand for travel expenses of Jharkhand Bhawans officer employee was approved after deduction. Approval was given to give three crore rupees per year as aid grant to Jharkhand State Hindu Religious Trust Board.
