Union Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth today said that on June 21 the whole country is celebrating the 11th International Yoga Day. Yoga will be performed at one lakh places and in 175 countries across the country on Saturday. Prime Minister Narendra Modis resolution is to keep the people of the country healthy. For this, 11 years ago, on Yoga Day, he had appealed to all the citizens of the country to join yoga, the result of which is that today the whole world is taking advantage of their healthy life by adopting yoga. He said that in the Corona era, people saved their lives by adopting yoga. With the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all of us are moving ahead in the field of yoga today. Tomorrow, the Union Minister will do yoga with the villagers in the Prime Ministers school in Kumhariya village of Kanke. 20 international players will also participate in this yoga program. Commenting on the situation of the city during heavy rains he said that what happened in Ranchi yesterday should not have happened. It is Gods great grace that it did not rain today. What would have happened if it had rained today? Who is to blame for this? No one wants to do politics, I have come to save Ranchi. Due to the inaction of Ranchi Municipal Corporation, Ranchi is flooded from all sides today. Houses and shops are submerged everywhere. All this is the inaction of the Municipal Corporation. The life of the people of Ranchi has become hell. Seth said that one of the major reasons for such a hellish condition of Ranchi is the non-conduct of Municipal Corporation elections. After the elections, the concerned ward members take the responsibility of maintaining and cleaning their respective areas. As a result, waterlogging does not occur. The councillors keep cleaning the drains of their respective localities throughout the year, but due to the non-conduct of elections, the entire system has collapsed. It is a matter of thought that how is the hilly area of Ranchi getting submerged? After all, why are the Municipal Corporation elections not being held? Who is responsible for this? Who is responsible for the destruction of property worth crores of rupees of people in two days of rain? Seth said that encroachment on large drains here and there has also become a major reason for waterlogging. Big drains are not cleaned, due to which many localities are submerged. The Minister called it unfortunate and said that the Municipal Corporation does not have money for cleaning and development work in the city. Whenever the Municipal Corporation is talked to about any scheme, it is said that a letter has been written to the Urban Development Department for it, they just keep blaming each other, which is very unfortunate. The entire roads of the city have been dug up by JUIDCO and left. When this is the condition of the city, what will be the condition of the rural areas. The condition of electricity supply is also the same. The entire city and village are in darkness. He said that the government administration should worry about the people of Ranchi and work should start in this direction on priority basis. Yesterday, on the occasion of Yoga Day, yoga kits were distributed among all the mandals by the Union Minister of State for Defence.
