State BJP celebrated International Yoga Day at the division level on Saturday. State President and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi, Executive President Dr. Ravindra Kumar Rai, Organization General Secretary Karamveer Singh, former Chief Ministers Arjun Munda, Raghubar Das, Champai Soren, former State President and MP Deepak Prakash, State General Secretary and MP Aditya Sahu, Dr. Pradeep Verma, Manoj Kumar Singh, along with state officials, MPs, MLAs and thousands of workers performed yoga and highlighted the importance of yoga. In his address after yoga practice in Chutia Mandal under Ranchi district, State President and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi said that yoga is Indias cultural heritage, which has been established on the world stage by the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that Indian culture has a sense of world brotherhood. The sages of India proclaimed Sarve Bhavantu Sukhin, Sarva Santu Niramaya (May all be happy, may all be free from illness) thousands of years ago. He said that the theme of this year is one world, one health. It is based on Sarve Bhavantu Niramaya. He said that India made this mantra meaningful even during the Corona period. India sent Corona vaccines to many countries of the world. He said that yoga will have a huge contribution in making Fit India, Healthy India. Marandi called upon the people to make yoga a part of their daily routine. Executive President Dr. Ravindra Kumar Rai said that yoga is such a method which not only makes the body fit and healthy but also helps in achieving the four Purusharthas Dharma Artha Kama Moksha. State Organization General Secretary Karmveer Singh said that yoga is a sadhana, yoga is science, yoga is our heritage, tradition. He said that the acceptance of yoga in the world today is the acceptance of Indias eternal cultural tradition. He called upon the workers to engage in regular yoga practice.
