Road mishap claims three lives in Capital

Three people died in a road accident in Namkum area of capital Ranchi on Saturday late night. The deceased included a staff of Ranchi Civil Court. The havoc of high speed was seen late Saturday night in Namkum police station area of the capital Ranchi. Three people lost their lives due to high speed car. Namkum police station in-charge said that a high speed car crushed a scooter rider and a pedestrian and then itself became a victim of an accident by losing control. All three people died in this accident. In this accident, Ranchi Civil Court peon Praveer Hansda, Vikas Kendra Dhanbad teacher Som Sinha and the car driver died. Regarding the accident, Som Sinhas family members said that they had talked to Som Sinha at 10:12 pm and he was returning home on foot. Family members said that when Som did not reach home for a long time, they went out to look for him but he was nowhere to be seen. However, they also noticed a road accident but they moved ahead.  When Som was not found anywhere, they reached the accident spot where he was identified by his slippers. The same was the case with Praveer Hansdas family, they also got to know about Praveers accident from his shoes lying on the bridge. DSP Headquarters One Amar Pandey said that this accident took place on the bridge near Durga Soren in Namkum. The speeding car driver first hit Praveer Hansda who was riding a scooter, after which he hit teacher Som Sinha who was walking and then due to the collision and high speed, he lost control and became a victim of the accident himself.
