Jharkhand Mukti Morchas Central General Secretary Vinod Kumar Pandey today described the press conference held by AJSU Party as a complete political conspiracy to mislead the public. He said that the party, which is responsible for reducing OBC reservation in Jharkhand from 24 to 14 per cent is today pleading for morality on reservation, this is a bad joke with the people of Jharkhand. AJSU Party has lost its support base among the public today due to such directionless policies. If we look at the results of the last elections, it is clearly visible that AJSU Party no longer has any support base. Pandey said that when the popular Hemant government of Jharkhand took the initiative to give 27 per cent reservation to OBCs, then an attempt was made to stop it by going to the court with the support of NDA alliance. AJSU Party is an important constituent party of NDA. AJSU Party should first tell what is its stand on OBC reservation? If it is in favour of OBCs, then it should first clarify why it stood with those who stopped reservation in the court? And when OBC reservation was reduced in Babulal Marandis government, which was in alliance with AJSU, why did AJSU Party agree with it? AJSU Party can never erase this stain of its history. He said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren has not become the biggest tribal leader of the country today because of his clear policies and actions - every section of the society is benefited and happy by his actions, policies, decisions, schemes. To compete with Chief Minister Hemant Soren, it is first necessary to become liberal and sensitive like him. He said that the AJSU Party is raising questions on 75% reservation in the private sector. Everyone knows the people who are creating obstacles in the court regarding reservation. The government is making policies, respecting the court process, but parties like AJSU are playing with the sentiments of the youth. Vinod Pandey said that AJSU party neither brought any concrete proposal on the local policy of the state, nor could it make planning transparent during its governments. Today, when the Jharkhand government is engaged in implementing the planning policy in a legal and constitutional way, AJSU only wants to gain cheap popularity by making noise. Pandey said that before giving slogans like Give jobs, AJSU should tell how many jobs were given to the youth during their governments? How many examinations did they conduct? How many appointments were given? Today, when the Hemant government has started appointments on thousands of posts, reinstated the examination commissions, brought transparency, then the AJSU party sitting in the opposition is not able to see all this. The JMM general secretary also rejected AJSUs allegations regarding the Maiya Samman Yojana. He said that this scheme has been brought to give respect to lakhs of poor women. It is unfortunate to give a political colour to the process of investigation and verification of some names. AJSU should stop trying to mislead the public. Giving speeches today on issues for which it itself has been guilty exposes its true face, he said. Pandey said that Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is committed to the rights, respect and development of the people of Jharkhand. The public will now answer those who play with the emotions of youth and women for political gain.
