BJP State Organization General Secretary Karmveer Singh remembered Loknayak Jaiprakash Narayan on Samvidhan Hatya Diwas today. Tribute was offered to his picture in the state office and he bowed down. Singh said that due to the decision of Allahabad High Court, Indira Gandhis membership as MP had ended. She should have resigned from her post. But Gandhi not only disobeyed the courts order but also crushed the countrys constitution. He said that on 25th June, while addressing lakhs of democracy fighters gathered from all over the country at Delhis Ramlila Maidan, JP had called upon them to vacate the throne so that the public can come. But at midnight a dark chapter began in the country. He said that today the Congress, which is pleading to save the constitution, has torn apart all the limits of democracy. He said that the country remembers that after the historic meeting in Delhi on 25 June 75, the voice of the country was crushed for 21 months through the Emergency. No political meeting could be held during this period. He said that the people of India have been democracy lovers since ancient times. This country is the mother of democracy and no one can ever succeed in crushing it. The people of India know how to teach a lesson to those who crush them.
