Former Jharkhand chief minister Shibu Soren has been hospitalised in a private hospital in the national capital for the past week, sources said. Soren, 81, is receiving treatment at the Ganga Ram Hospital, a source said, adding that it is not just a routine check-up, as he has been admitted for the past three days. He is currently stable, the source added. As soon as the news of Shibu Sorens ill health was received, the President of the country Draupadi Murmu on Thursday reached the hospital. She met Dishom Guru Shibu Soren and enquired about his health and wished him a speedy recovery. During this, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his wife Kalpana Soren were also present there. On Friday, senior leaders from JMM and Congress went to Delhi to enquire about Sorens health. Congress leader and Jharkhand Health Minister Irfan Ansari, Jharkhand Congress co-in-charge Siri Bela, RJD leader and Labour Minister Sanjay Prasad Yadav left for Delhi from Deoghar Airport on Friday. Before leaving for Delhi, Health Minister Irfan Ansari said that the creator of Jharkhand Shibu Soren is unwell. He said that our state in-charge K. Raju was having a meeting. During this, the state in-charge said that you all should go to Delhi immediately and update about Shibu Sorens health. He said that Shibu Soren is the guardian of all of us. Therefore, we have a responsibility towards him. That is why we are going to Delhi to know about his condition. It is worth noting that former Chief Minister of Jharkhand and currently Rajya Sabha MP Shibu Soren is admitted in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi since June 19, where he is being treated under the leadership of Dr. A.K. Bhalla, head of the Nephrology Department in the hospital. The hospital administration says that his condition is stable. A team of specialist doctors is taking care of him. BJP state president and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Babulal Marandi also wished Shibu Soren for his speedy recovery. He said that BJP leaders are worried about former Chief Minister Shibu Sorens health. I pray to God for his speedy recovery and long life, Marandi tweeted. On the other hand, regarding Gurujis health, Bharatiya Janata Partys state spokesperson Pradeep Sinha said that Shibu Soren is not only the former Chief Minister of the state and currently a Rajya Sabha MP, but he is also the head of the coordination committee of the Jharkhand government, in such a situation, the government, PIB should issue an authorized medical bulletin regarding his health. He said that people are worried about Gurujis health, so people are going to meet him. In such a situation, if no information is given from the government level, then people will fall prey to misunderstanding. Therefore, the government or PIB should issue a medical bulletin regarding his current condition.
