According to the Delta Ranking of March 2025 in the online review meeting organized by NITI Aayog, Chatra district has performed remarkably and secured first place among the 112 aspiring districts of the country. This achievement is the result of joint efforts, innovations and effective implementation of schemes of the district administration and various departments. This information was shared by NITI Aayog through an online meeting on Friday, in which the multidimensional progress of Chatra district was appreciated especially in the areas of health, nutrition, education, agriculture, financial inclusion and infrastructure. It is noteworthy that the top performing district will be awarded a prize money of ? 10 crore by NITI Aayog, which aims to give more impetus to developmental initiatives at the district level. On this achievement, Deputy Commissioner Kirti Shri congratulated the entire administrative team of the district, departmental officers, public representatives and the public and said that this honour is a matter of pride for the district and we all are committed to maintain it. This success is a proof of the strong initiative and continuous effort of Chatra district towards realizing the objectives of the Aspiring District Program. Apart from this, Garhwa has also been selected for its best performance in the field of education.
