In a daring daylight robbery that has raised serious questions about law and order, four armed criminals looted Aastha Jewellers on Bypass Road in Chas, Bokaro, on Monday evening. The miscreants, who arrived on two motorbikes, stormed into the jewellery shop and fled with a substantial quantity of gold ornaments along with cash bundles of 100 and 500 denominations.   The incident, carried out in a bustling commercial area, is being seen as an open challenge to Bokaro police. Despite the crowd and activity in the locality, the robbers executed the crime swiftly and managed to escape without immediate interception.   Police reached the spot shortly after being informed and have launched an intensive investigation. CCTV footage is being analyzed and checkpoints have been alerted throughout the district. The robbery has not only triggered panic among local traders but also highlighted the growing audacity of criminals operating in the region.
