BSL distributes Battery-Operated Tricycles to differently-abled persons under CSR

Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), in collaboration with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), organized a special camp on 24 June at Asha Lata Viklang Vikas Kendra. During the event, 42 differently-abled beneficiaries were provided free battery-operated tricycles.   Present on the occasion were BSL Director in-charge Birendra Kumar Tiwari, executive director (finance & accounts) Suresh Rangani, executive director (human resources) Rajashree Banerjee, executive director (materials management) C.R. Mishra, chief general manager (technical) Laxmi Das, chief medical officer Anand Kumar, Asha Lata centre director B.S. Jaiswal, ALIMCO representatives, general manager (CSR) B. Banerjee, and senior manager (CSR) N.K. Tripathi, along with officials, staff, beneficiaries, and their family members.   Tiwari stated that BSL is not only a leader in steel production but is also committed to the upliftment and empowerment of marginalized communities. He added that the battery-operated tricycles would enhance mobility and independence for the beneficiaries, helping them integrate into mainstream society.   The event was conducted by Sachchidanand Singh, and the vote of thanks was delivered by general manager (CSR) B.
