SHILLONG: Chief minister Conrad Sangma on Saturday visited Dura Kalakgre village in West Garo Hills and discussed measures to initiate welfare and development.Villagers from Oragitok , Chandigre, Tosekgre, Baladingre and Sakalgre came to Dura Kalakgre to meet Conrad. By improving connectivity and bringing in development, we will be able to market these villages as ecotourism destination," Conrad said. Some of the village headmen submitted memoranda of their demands to the chief minister. "We will look into the demand to improve water supply in these villages.
