SHILLONG: Sitting MP Vincent H Pala of Congress and Kennedy Khyriem, a 'stand-by' candidate put up by the party, filed their nomination papers for the Shillong Lok Sabha seat on Friday.Pala, who is seeking the mandate for a third consecutive term in Parliament, was accompanied by his mother to the office of the district magistrate to file his papers. But, whatever I have done, I did not publicize or blow my own trumpet," Pala told reporters after filing his papers.The ruling Meghalaya Democratic Alliance 's (MDA) common candidate and two times MP Agatha K'ongkal Sangma of National People's Party (NPP) also filed her papers on Friday from the Tura Lok Sabha constituency.
