DHARAMSHALA : A 19-year-old boy and an 18-year-old girl consumed some poison after they had secretly got married. Both are undergoing treatment and their condition was said to be serious. Both had taken the extreme step after after uploading their picture on social media of their marriage. The police are investigating the case.The incident took place in Baijnath area of Kangra district . The police said both were found unconscious and taken to a hospital.The boy was said to be recovering and was out of danger but the girl was in intensive care unit and was not showing any signs of improvement.Partap Thakur, DSP, Baijnath, said both were found lying unconscious by some local people near a local stream late on Saturday. "A love affair is being suspected. But we have to take the family members and acquaintances on record yet," he said.Meanwhile, two other cases of suicide attempts were also reported on Monday. A 30-year-old youth from Bhawarna area of this district, who had consumed poison, was brought to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead.In another case, a woman consumed poison by mistake. Her condition was stated to be critical. tnn
