CBI has failed to solve Kotkhai case: HP CM Virbhadra Singh

SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh CM Virbhadra Singh on Friday said the CBI had failed to solve the Kotkhai gangrape and murder case. It had earlier arrested the members of Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the state police that probed the Kotkhai case and had arrested six accused of which one was killed inside the police lockup. He said that not even a single arrest has been made in the case yet.While interacting with the media at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Shimla, he stated, so far, whatever arrests have been made by the investigating agency are only in connection with the custodial death of one of the accused.The CBI on Thursday arrested former Shimla, SP, D W Negi.
