Landslide: Jammu-Srinagar highway reopens after 9 hours

BANIHAL/JAMMU: The 300-kilometre long Jammu-Srinagar national highway was reopened for vehicular traffic after remaining closed for nine hours due to a massive landslide in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.According to the police, there was a heavy landslide which blocked the highway this morning at Ramsoo stranding over 400 vehicles. "Traffic on the highway was restored after nine hours. Men and machines of Border Roads Organisation (BRO) cleared debris on the highway.
