Surat gets stoppage for Palace Queen Express

SURAT: The passengers and travelers in the diamond city will have an opportunity to travel to Mysuru and Udaipur destinations with the railways providing stoppage to the Mysuru Palace Queen Weekly Humsafar Express at Surat.The train will run via Mandya, Bengaluru, Davangere, Hubballi, Belagavi, Pune, Kalyan, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Chittaurgarh and pass through 5 states, i.e., Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will flag off the inaugural Mysuru-Udaipur Palace Queen Weekly Humsafar Express on February 19 from the Mysuru railway station.Navsari MP, CR Paatil had made representation to Railway Minister Piyush Goyal for providing stoppage to the Palace Queen weekly express at Surat railway station, which was accepted by the Railway board.“This train will provide a unique travel experience to the people on board as it will have state-of-the-art passenger facilities including the GPS controlled LED display in the coaches for alerting passengers on the train’s speed, stoppages and other information” said Paatil.
